Welcome to the Autumn 2016 edition of the EPSMA newsletter.
This year the EPSMA celebrates its 20th full year of existence and is stronger than ever with 23 full members, 3 associates and a queue of companies interested in joining. With renewed connections to CENELEC and our sister organisation the PSMA, the EPSMA is set to become a more effective influence in the European Community providing technical guidance to industry and standards makers while representing the interests of member companies.

AGM and November management committee meeting
Hosted at Puls HQ in Munich during Electronica week, the AGM was very well attended with new members and new faces from existing members.
Manfred Schlenk was elected Vice President in place of Paul Lee and Paul Lee was elected to the vacant post of treasurer.
A small surplus was reported for the financial year and the budget for 2016/2107 shows an increased surplus.

The website continues to enlarge with more member announcements and information and links in the members area to industry news, presentations and standards information.
EPSMA CENELEC liaison organisation status
Information about changes to provisional CENELEC technical committee documents relevant to the power industry are starting to come through weekly. The secretariat will summarise these and send a monthly email alert out to members.
PSMA Global Standards committee and Energy Efficiency database
The first summary of information received at the secretariat about PSMA standards monitoring has been distributed to members. This will continue monthly. Any EPSMA members wishing to contribute to the standards committee should contact the PSMA or the EPSMA secretariat.
